Random "House Photo" Tag

Julie tagged me and since I haven't been a regular poster lately I thought I could participate.
You've been tagged. Here is what you do: grab your camera and take at least 5 random pictures around your house. No cleaning up first, this is your house as is:
Here is some catergories you could use: Room that stays the cleanest Work in progress What someone else is doing right now Favorite decor or display Something that represents your current life Favorite relaxing spot Something hand-me-down Etc. etc.
This is not really a room, but it represents whats new in our life. Last week we bought 1/2 a Beef and I can't believe how much freezer space it takes up!

I don't know if everyone has one, but I do! (sad thing is I have more than one) This is the collection spot in my house. This is where I dump anything that either doesn't have a place, hasn't made it to its place because I am to lazy to put it there, or needs a temporary place. This is the battle zone. Hello, my name is Tammie and I am a stacker! I am sure its hereditary, my mom is the same way (sorry mom!), but I can never seem to find a place to put all the stuff I have that needs a place. My dresser in my room and well pretty much any other flat surface in my house gets stacked , but this and my dresser are the worst!

This picture and the next one are because of Jesse. The basement is sort of move in ready...well he's ready to move in! This is his bedroom upstairs after we moved the bed. I didn't quite get the picture in time to get all of the junk, because there was more, but he got to it before I did. Seriously has the kid ever heard of a garbage can????

Bill takes great pride in stating that he came into this marriage with 7 boxes and a footlocker full of stuff from his mission. This is the remainder of a couple of Jesse's 10 boxes that it took to move him from one bedroom to another, 7 of them were out in the garage from when we moved him from the basement in the first place! He is totally incapable of throwing ANYTHING away! You can see the red binder at the bottom, he had 7 empty binders and folders galore in there. GAAAAHHHH!!!!

This is our new bathroom in the basement. Right now it is the holding place for anything Bill might need to finish the rest of the miscellaneous stuff left to do in the basement. This will all come out when we are able to fit it back into the garage and everything in the garage is back in the basement. Tricky huh?

Well I didn't have any pictures of anyone doing anything, but this is the disarray that my house happens to be in at the moment. I tag Debbie, Jana, and Billie! Really I would love to see everyone do this so TAG YOUR IT!

I'm just glad I'm not the only with one (or 10 for me) junk spots. I want a clean house, but I want to do something else with my day too.
At least you have an excuse though. Thanks for playing!

I totally agree. I love a clean house too. But cleaning just isn't in the top 10 of things that I want to do with my day!

I have those same junk spots....my dresser and the kitchen counter. My other big junk spot is on top of my cedar chest in my room. (It is covered with all my returns!) Is your freezer always that organized, or is it just because you just bought the 1/2 of beef. That is impressive. Mine is a total unorganized mess.

That was totally fun! Thanks for posting those pictures. Dave has wanted to get a 1/2 of beef. After seeing your photo I can now wonder about that... Actually it would be really nice, but I would have to make some room. As much as I hate clutter I still have a few dumping grounds and it drives me crazy. I think I would have total ANXIETY taking pictures of my house (as is) and posting it on the Internet. It would probably be good therapy for me…

Your basement looks AWESOME! When can we come mess it up?

Jana, I guess I don't get anxiety over a messy house. But I think Bill wishes I would. I figure if I let people know before hand, when they show up it won't be a surprise its a mess!

I do that too, and it does make me feel better when I warn people. :-)

My 3rd comment was Debbie and she said she wasn't playing, so if you still want to play pay it foward, do a post so I know who I need to start making presents for!
