2013 Lower Palisades Lake Hike

On July 11 I took the girls on another hike.  It was a little harder than the butte, but well worth the walk.  We had a really nice day!!! We started about 10 am and was back to the car by 3.

Of course we had to spend time snacking and throwing rocks!

By the time we got to the lake we were tired and ready for lunch.  There is not really any great place to sit around the edge of the lake but we finally did find a small jut out to sit on and eat lunch and play in the water.  I really do think this was the only place by the lake.  So leave before everyone else if you want to sit there!!!

Here are just a few fun things we found as we were following the trail!

 Our feet were tired when we finished, but it was worth the walk!
