Firepit Patio
It never fails, whenever I get finished with a project I think "why didn't I take picture's all the way through. So I found a picture of Daken holding a snake, but in the background you can kinda see the hole they were digging! Right!?!
We have a ditch behind our yard that we've been wanting to fill in, well now we've done it! When Jesse and Daken were digging the hole they dumped it in here. Now we'll see how long it takes to smooth it and make it look better!
Here is the finished product. After having the boys dig the hole too deep and 13 truckloads of rock and road base to fill the hole back up. Then 3 pallets of flagstone to sort through, we'll you'd think I would look a little buffer!! But alas were finished...sort of. Now we need to decide if we should use cement to grout the rocks in or wait through the winter to let the rock settle and just use sand to fill the rest in. Decisions, Decisions!!!
I think it turned out nice though!

I love it. What a great idea and a lot of work.
Hi Tammie! Congratulate Cierra on her baptism for me! Your patio turned out so awesome! Call me about stuff to fill in between the rocks, we got some awesome stuff that was really easy to use and it looks really good... it's from Home Depot. Anyway! Congrats on getting a project done!
I love it! Jeff will NEVER go for something like this 'we need a ball field' don't you know... he's thwarting my landscape plans...I would sand grout it...that's what I did on my path on the side of the house and it was so simple. Plus, it is really inexpensive :)
Tammie, that is amazing. I love it.
